Miniature Dolls House Art Exhibition
The Go West Exhibit
I was recently asked if I could paint a wagon and horse, like in the America Wild West …….. well one thing led to another and now a new exhibition is on at The Gallery.
My 1:12th scale Art Gallery is my folly, I love painting new collections to
have on display. This new collection has gone on display this week and was great fun to paint.
Wagon – the family are traveling to their new homestead out west.
Gold effect frame 2 1/2 x 3 inches
Prairie Barn – an old wagon in the grass is in the foreground of this prairie farm painting with a barn in the distance
Camp Fire – making camp by the river, the woman has got the fire going…..
Gold effect frame 2 1/2 x 3 inches
Going West – the horse is struggling to pull the wagon up the slope so the ladies are walking ….
Gold effect frame 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches
Mountain Sunset – the sun sets over the mountains
Gold effect frame 2 3/8th x 2 7/8th inches
Saloon – I had a lot of fun with this idea, I watched old western movies as a children, and the saloon was always featured, so I thought this scene was a nice addition to the collection.
Wooden frame 3 x 4 inches
Edit : this collection is now all sold
