My Miniature Art on display in Connecticut :: Posted by: Hazel on October 19th, 2020

Welcome to Connecticut Bauernhof Manor House

Miniature Art in its new home in Connecticut
Today I’m very honoured to be able to share with you one of my new collectors dollhouse. Miranda started collecting my art earlier this year after seeing my posts on Instagram.

The name of her house is “Connecticut Bauernhof Manor House” and is shown here in the photographs with my art in its new home. The photographs are taken by the collector and copyright is respected.

Miranda tells me she bought this her, first dollhouse last October, it has 7 rooms, and she is already planning the next larger house …..The houses came from her local dollhouse shop: Whimsies Dollhouse Shop in Greenwich, Connecticut

The residents (dolls) of this amazing miniature property are ;
Arthur (Art) and Ava both age 41, Elsa age 6 and Ella just 18 months old
Gerda is the maid, and Elisa (Ava’s younger sister, she’s 37 years old)
Ava’s and Elisa’s parents Einar and Elise also reside in this wonderful house.

The back story is that they are from Austria and their last name is Bauernhof, all Except Gerda who is from Denmark. And they have a dog named is Laddie.

Miniature Art in Situ

Arts Study has my boat painting over the stairs and an Autumnal landscape painting above his desk.

In Elisa’s beautiful bedroom hangs “The Lady in The Garden” painting, a real statement piece at 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches.

The Cottage at “Cherry Tree Lane” has roses around the door and wisteria growing up the front apex, this Dollhouse size miniature painting is just 2 x 2 1/4 inches And fits perfectly into the decor of this dressing room, as does The Street Shopping scene.

The Ballerina takes her curtain call ….. this pretty painting is just great in this setting, how lovely is the furniture in this room, I just love the toys and the tutu is so cute, which was made by Miranda who also makes wonderful miniature wedding dresses.

Thank you Miranda for sharing your dollhouse with us, I’m very honoured to have my paintings in such a lovely setting.
