Poppy Paintings

I recently did a blog post showing some my latest larger A3 poppy paintings : Going Large and thought we would take some more photos to show them in perspective of size.

These Poppy Art paintings are painted in encaustic hot wax onto A3 sized specialist gloss encaustic card, they can be purchsed as they are just on the card and could be then cut to fit a mount and frame of your choice, or I do have some mounts that I could supply them in, these three I am holding are currently available (at the time of writing this post) please contact me if you are interested in buying these or any other of the works shown in my blog or website.

Other Poppy and original artworks are also avaiable online in my website shop but I often show work on facebook and other social media and it is sold before it goes in my shops, so if you see a picture in the Gallery or online why not ask if it is still available …… also if it is sold I may be able to paint you a similar one as a commission.

Flame Haired Jewellery Designs :: Posted by: Hazel on February 11th, 2014

Original design handmade jewellery By Flame Haired Jewellery Designs

I thought it might be fun to do a blog post to showcase an artisan friend of mine.

I met Hazel Brant via the UK “Modern British Crafts” arts and crafts shopping outlet Folksy.
braclet - handmade by flame haired jewellery
Hazel and I don’t just share the same name but also a passion for art and beautiful things.

Hazel is a jewellery designer with a unique style, creating beautiful pieces of original design handmade jewellery, from Charm bracelets and necklaces to earrings and bag charms each piece is handmade and many pieces co-ordinate to make lovely sets.

Her shop is called : Flame Haired Jewellery Designs

These are direct quotes from her shop profile ……..

I love to make jewellery, using mostly crystal glass and semi-precious stones. I have varied tastes, resulting in a diversity of designs.

I am inspired by nature, and also love Gothic and quirky styles, so you never know what you might find!.

I love doing commissions, and would be more than happy to make a bespoke item to your style and colour of choice from my huge collection of beads and findings.

I own several pieces of Flame haired jewellery and have also given them as gifts, they are beautiful pieces, I even had a commission made in a bee theme, which you can see at the top of this post – well it had to be really as my passion is for painting in beeswax ……..

These are just a few of the pieces currently in store

The examples show a very small selection of the varied pieces designed by Hazel, from the Copper Hematite Flower Charm Bracelet in a Victorian elegance of steampunk style, to the Valentine Heart and Peach Crystal pieces and the Dragon Amethyst Bracelet and bag charm to the Unisex Wolf Head Hematite Bracelets.
