Just a few photos of the year …….
Dresses and Dressing Room Painting
The dresses and dressing room paintings are proving very popular and are such fun to paint .
I’ve painted many this year as well as Ladies, like these three chatting at the Ball. Others, the gentlemen suit piece was one of a collection now in a miniature property that is a shop with a men’s department. A dressing room for all occasions…..
Flowers
Flowers and plants are still one of my favourite subjects to paint . The pink peonies and purple flowers was one of my first pieces of 2020
Something different and Quirky
I love painting different styles and topics …… sometimes an idea just comes and I am often challenged by commissions which can lead to new ideas . Painting for miniature and dollhouse properties is so varied and great fun.
This vintage sewing machine picture is off to Canada today to hang in a dollhouse sewing room in a period dolls house.
I have painted many ice creams and ice cream billboards recently, they have always been well received and this year more so, many of which are in America now, with more than one in a 1:12th scale ice cream parlour so I’m told.
Likewise the chocolates, were a fun challenge and several are in a miniature chocolate shop here the in the U.K.
And then there is everything else …..
I have sold over 200 paintings in 2019 so these are just a taster of some of them, some are sold others currently in my Etsy shop. Ballerina paintings, landscape pieces, winter and Spring, by the river, with the Eiffel Tower, fairies of course, a cup of coffee and cake …….
Plus not shown here but featured on my blog in other posts ….. an Art Deco Collection, Billboards, window displays and much much more
